NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU Now Available For $949 US, $50 US Below MSRP

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU can now be found below its MSRP for a price of $949 US, marking the first time it has dropped below $1000.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER wasn't the biggest upgrade within the "SUPER" family but it did feature better specs and best of all, it launched at an MSRP of $999 US which was much better than the $1199 US pricing of its Non-SUPER sibling. However, soon after the launch, the RTX 4080 SUPER was out of stock almost across all major outlets and the few models that were available had been priced way above MSRP close to $1200-$1300 US.
However, that is changing now and we are seeing the influx of more models at MSRP or close to the MSRP, within the $1000-$1050 US range. So far, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER & the RTX 4070 SUPER cards have been prices drop below MSRP but now it's the RTX 4080 SUPER's turn.
Over at the Dell Store, you can find the PNY GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER VERTO graphics card listed for $949.99 US which is a $500 US savings versus the $999 US MSRP. Surprisingly, the OEM listed this specific variant at an original price of $1399.99 US while retailers such as Amazon & Newegg have listed the same model for $999 US. At Amazon, you can find the same graphics card for $991 US which is also below its MSRP. The LED OC variant is listed for $989.00 US.
Now this isn't necessarily the biggest of price drops and it doesn't indicate a potential launch of next-gen GPUs soon but the new pricing should make the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU more competitive against its rival, the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX which itself has seen a series of discounts over the last few months.
