Ayaneo Unveils Retro Reshape Handheld & Mini Console Lineup: RX 7600M XT GPU Graphics Dock, AM01S & AIR 1S With Ryzen 8000 APUs

Ayaneo has unveiled its latest Retro Reshape lineup featuring a RX 7600M XT GPU dock, AM10S Mini PC & Air 1S handhelds with AMD Ryzen 8000 APUs.

There are a lot of announcements to go through so let's start at the very top which includes the Ayaneo Retro Mini PC AM01S which has now been upgraded from older Ryzen 3000/5000 APUs to the new Ryzen 8000 APU series. The Mini PC also gets a more modern design update in the form of a flip screen, dual USB4 ports, dual 2.5G Ethernet LAN, dual HDMI, and dual Type-A ports.

In terms of internal specifications, the Ayaneo AM01S Mini PC will come equipped with a choice of AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS or Ryzen 7 8845HS APU with up to 8 cores, 16 threads, Radeon 780M "RDNA 3" iGPUs and a 65W TDP. The cooling solution comes in the form of a dual-fan design which should be enough to support a much higher TDP such as 84-90W easily as we have seen in other Mini PCs with similar tests.

The Ayaneo AIR 1S handheld has also received the AMD Ryzen 8000 update and now features the Ryzen 7 8840U. Only the APU has been updated with the rest of the specs remaining the same as the original model which includes a 5.5" 1080p OLED display, a single fan with an integrated heat pipe solution for cooling that can dissipate up to 25W heat, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 4 TB of M.2 (2280) SSD support. All of this comes packaged in a lightweight 405-gram design.

Another unique product from the manufacturer is the Starship AG01 graphics dock which is a retro-themed graphics dock featuring the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT GPU. The graphics dock has a high-end metal body with a powerful cooling solution and an RGB spiral light on the front. The dock comes in Nebula Red and Interstellar Gray color schemes. There's also a customized nameplate on the front that adds an extra layer of personalization to the device.

The sides of the Ayaneo Starship AG01 graphics dock feature a large exhaust vent while the back features a range of IO connectors including dual HDMI, dual DP, a USB Type-A, and a Type-C port. There's also a 2.5 GbE LAN port making it quite a versatile docking solution. The flip side has a panel for tool-less SSD installation which is a bonus.

The AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT GPU is based on the Navi 33 "RDNA 3" graphics core and features a total of 32 compute units, 2048 shader units, 32 MB of Infinity cache, 8 GB GDDR6 memory running across a 128-bit wide bus interface and a maximum clock speed of 2615 MHz. The TGP can be set between 75-120W. We have seen similar graphics docks from other companies in the past that also featured the same chip such as the GPD G1 and the OneXGPU.

In addition to these Ayaneo has also introduced its new Pocket DMG mini handheld powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon G3X Gen2 CPU, the Pocket Micro handheld, and the Retro Power bank with a 45W PD fast-charging mode through dual USB Type-C ports (12000mAh).
