AMD's Ryzen AI 300-powered laptops from ACER under its Swift lineup have been spotted in the Geekbench database.

ASUS isn't the only retailer that will feature the new 'Ryzen AI 300" series in its new range of laptops, as Acer joins the party with its newest generation of Swift laptops. Based on a newly emerged Geekbench entry, it looks like Acer's Swift 14 laptop will house AMD's new Strix Point chips such as the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, an APU that will be one of the top offerings in the family.

As for specifications, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is a 12-core and 24-thread chip with four Zen 5 and eight Zen 5C configurations, offering boost clocks up to 5.1 GHz. For integrated GPU, the APU comes with the Radeon 890M iGPU with 16 compute units or 1024 cores. To top everything off, AMD has integrated the XDNA 2 AI engine, which offers significant AI computing performance of up to 50 TOPS.

The Geekbench test shows that the CPU manages to bag 2,689 points in single-core and 13,515 in multi-core performance. The CPU was running at its highest rated boost clock of up to 5.1 GHz but the score reported here for this specific laptop is a bit low considering the other entries that we've seen. It is likely that since the ACER Swift 14 is going to be a thin laptop design, this platform could be running a lower TDP of 17-28W versus the full TDP of 54W which Strix Point "Ryzen AI 300" APUs can support.

With that said, AMD's Strix Point "Ryzen AI 300" APUs laptop models, which are expected to be released by 28 July, will be integrated by several manufacturers, such as ASUS, HP, Lenovo, MSI & ACER.

The ACER Swift 14 laptop will now come with three different platform choices, the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite, Intel Lunar Lake, and AMD's Strix Point, suggesting that Acer wants their users to experience the best in terms of the AI PC products, and the Ryzen AI 300 platform will surely elevate Acer's Swift platform to new levels.

Up till now, ASUS and Acer are the only companies that have showcased dedicated Ryzen AI 300 series laptops. While there will also be other manufacturers, we have yet to learn about them. Since the official launch is still a month away, further information surrounding SKUs will surface in the upcoming weeks.
