ZOTAC Extends Warranty Period To Five Years For NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs In Taiwan

ZOTAC announces extended warranty for its NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs in Taiwan in an attempt to improve its after-sales services in the region.
HKEPC reports that the graphics card maker is looking to "upgrade" its warranty policy for the RTX 40 series graphics card. ZOTAC will now offer an extension of 2 years in the warranty period, for all GPUs that fulfill production registration in 30 days, having a purchase date after 1st August. This decision isn't limited to Ada Lovelace, as the older RTX 30/20 series models will also be catered to, receiving a one-year warranty period extension.

Moreover, ZOTAC has gone one step ahead here, offering an extended warranty to the higher-end AMP / ArcticStorm series graphics cards with the condition of purchase date beyond April 2019. With the addition of two years, the 2019 models will now get a 5-year warranty. In addition to that, Hong Kong has already been getting an extended 3 (+2) year warranty period upon registration of the above-mentioned ZOTAC GeForce RTX 40 GPUs.
This move of extension in warranties from ZOTAC was previously seen when the Ampere lineup was released, and the company decided to offer extended warranties in EU regions. Such decisions involve various factors, such as enhancing the company's image or providing extended support to consumers in case any widespread fault emerges. It is appreciable to see ZOTAC going ahead with such a decision, although by the looks of it, it may be a regional thing.
