Instead, the S8 MaxV Ultra has an additional mop just for this purpose. It's a self-cleaning mop made of soft materials with up to 185rpm rotating speed for a perfect cleanup in one go.

To further help with the 100% cleaning, Roborock has also introduced the new DirTect Technology that enables the S8 MaxV Ultra to recognize dirt and clean accordingly. The tech can help the robovac to increase the suction power for heavy dust, employ the mop-only mode with increased water for stubborn stains, and lift the brushes or mop depending on the mess type, among other features.

The S8 MaxV Ultra also features the industry-leading 10,000Pa Extreme Suction power, an all-rubber DuoRoller Riser Brushes that are more effective at capturing hair, debris, dust, and dirt from hardwood to tiles, and carpets and rugs. DuoRoller's anti-tangle design also avoids the messy situation of hair getting tangled in the brushes during cleanup. The DuoRoller brush carries concealed scrapers inside the brush cover to cut the collected hairs on the brushes to further avoid entanglement.

Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra also introduces the VibraRise® 3.0 Mopping System with upgraded Sonic Mopping that cleans the floors 4000 times/min and removes even the dried-up stains effectively. With 20mm Mop Lifting, the robovac prevents any unwanted dampness on your carpets or rugs.

Along with the mop, the brush is also liftable, which results in simultaneous vacuum and mop since the parts can just lift up to avoid cross-contaminating already cleaned-up areas.
