TCL CSOT Unveils Massive 57.1-Inch Dual 4K Curved Gaming Display With 240Hz Refresh Rate

TCL CSOT has showcased its brand new and high-end 57.1-Inch Curved Gaming display which features a 240Hz refresh rate.
The massive gaming display was showcased by TCL at the AWE 2023 exhibition in Shanghai, China. The massive screen features a curved panel which stands on an aluminum frame and while it isn't a finalized design, it still looks as impressive as ever. The panel makes use of the HVA technology & delivers higher refresh rates, faster response times, high contrast, and better curvature with better power efficiency.
So coming back to the display itself, it is interesting that TCL CSOT is designating the new design as a gaming display which makes sense too since it does offer an ultra-wide curved design. The panel details are unknown but it comes with a maximum resolution of 7840x2160 or DUHD (Dual 4K). It's also rated with a native refresh rate of 60 Hz and all the way up to 240 Hz. The marketing team at TCL CSOT is using the 8K branding but that isn't technically true 8K as confirmed by the resolution.
TCL is also targetting eSports gamers with this display, touting its 1ms fast response time along with support for AMD's Freesync and NVIDIA's G-Sync compatibility mode which should deliver buttery smooth gaming without screen tears. We would still like to know the actual details of the panel which should be available close to the launch of the product.
The world's first 57.1" DUHD 240Hz R1000 gaming display
With the trend of e-sports sweeping the world, ultra-wide e-sports screens are also taking advantage of this craze. Based on the self-developed HVA technology and the high-end algorithm IP jointly developed by VD, TCL CSOT has created the world's first 57-inch R1000 8K high-end gaming curved screen. Its high-resolution DUHD (7680*2160) with a 32:9 ultra-wide display ratio, the ultra-wide viewing angle fully enhances the game's sense of immersion, helping players gain insight into the game and never miss any wonderful moment.
240Hz high refresh rate and 1ms fast response, comprehensively improves the game experience, perfectly solves the phenomenon of smearing and stuttering, and can easily cope with large-scale games; FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility modes ensure game quality, which is expected to create a new era of e-sports. Using SAGLR 42% high haze and low reflection, all-round powerful eye protection to protect vision health; 57 large-size three-sided borderless to break through the constraints of the frame, the minimum thickness is only 13.4mm, which can bring the ultimate visual immersion.
