The OneXPlayer M1 is the latest in the company's Mini PC offerings, featuring Intel's Core Ultra CPUs and powerful specs.

Compact form-factor gaming & Mini PCs are highly popular due to their portability and while carrying a full-fledged rig is difficult to put inside a backpack, these new mini-gaming PCs can reduce your backpack weight significantly without sacrificing a lot of performance.

OneXPlayer, the company behind many gaming handhelds, has just launched OneXPlayer M1, claiming it to be the most powerful Mini PC based on Intel Meteor Lake "Core Ultra" CPUs.

The M1 Mini PC boasts a small form factor, measuring just 196 x 120 x 32mm, allowing its users to carry the PC inside their loose pocket. It weighs just 599 grams, which is roughly 270 grams lighter than the OneXGPU which used a similar chassis but only served as an eGPU solution. This makes it hassle-free for carrying anywhere you like and will be best for small LAN parties. The enclosure boasts a minimalistic design with a small vent and fan on one side for dissipating heat. The case also exhibits beautiful RGB lighting on both ends, which isn't the only thing you will see on the sides.

There are plenty of ports on the side as well as the back. The connectivity options include the following ports:

  • OCuLink
  • HDMI x2
  • USB 4 Type C x2
  • DisplayPort
  • USB 3.2 Type-A
  • USB 2.0 Type-A
  • MicroSD card reader
  • 3.5mm jack
  • LAN port
  • The OneXPlayer M1 Mini PC also features an OcuLink port through which users can connect an external dock like the OneXGPU to improve the PC's graphical horsepower for playing the latest games on high to ultra settings. OneXGPU offers an AMD Radeon 7600M XT GPU but costs $699, which might be too expensive for many users. Therefore, the M1 is already equipped with a decently powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU, bringing a solid combo of a power-efficient CPU with 16 cores, and an Intel ARC iGPU with 8 Xe cores.

The Intel Core Ultra CPU is rated to run at 45-watt in default mode but can run on Turbo mode at up to 60 watts for increased performance. The system includes a wireless card for WiFi 6E as well as Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless peripheral connection. There are plenty of USB ports for high-bandwidth devices too and a LAN port for a lag-free gaming experience.

The OneXPlayer M1 Mini PC configuration includes an M.2 2280 connector, featuring 1TB/2TB of PCI-E 4.0 x4 storage and a SODIMM slot for up to 32 GB DDR5 5600MHz RAM. The mini-PC with 32GB / 1TB configuration is already available for pre-order in Japan for ¥142,310. However, the company is offering a 10% discount for users who buy it along with OneXGPU.
