Maxsun has unveiled its latest budget AM5 offering, the Terminator B650M, which is a $100 US motherboard with support for AMD "Zen 5" CPUs.

Maxsun's products are generally regarded as decent for the budget market, and the firm is renowned for its MGG series of GPUs too, which feature high-end cooling design and sleek esthetics. On the motherboard side of things, Maxsun offers its Terminator series, such as the B760M Terminator, which we reported on previously as well. However, with the newest Terminator B650M WIFI, Maxsun plans on transitioning towards AMD's newest Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" Desktop CPUs.

In terms of specifications, the Maxsun Terminator B650M WIFI motherboards come with support for AMD's Ryzen 9000 series desktop CPUs, up to the 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X. Given the versatility of the AM5 socket type, consumers can employ the Ryzen 7000 series, 8000 series, and 9000 series CPUs with the motherboard, ensuring its widened compatibility.

Apart from this, the Terminator B650M WIFI features an 11-phase power supply, having an 8+2+1 phase 50A DrMOS VRAM layout, which is designed considering the B650M chipset. Interestingly, Maxsun has listed support for up to the Ryzen 9 9900X which is a 120W TDP part along with the Ryzen 9 7950X which is a 170W TDP part.

For RAM, the Maxsun B650M motherboard is equipped with 4 DDR5 DIMM slots, rated to support up to 192 GB dual-channel memory, supporting up to 8000 MT/s (EXPO) memory frequencies. For storage, the motherboard comes with 2x PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots and SATA ports as well. In terms of the overall design, the Terminator B650M WIFI comes with a micro-ATX design, with a black and white color scheme, complimenting the overall look massively.

In terms of pricing, Maxsun's Terminator B650M WIFI motherboard is currently retailing for 799 yuan /$100, which is certainly decent considering that it is a mATX board featuring support for the latest AMD Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" CPUs. We don't have a word on global availability yet, but Maxsun's products are generally confined to regional markets.
