NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 551.86 Now Available: Day-1 Support For Horizon Forbidden West

NVIDIA's latest GeForce Game Ready driver 551.86 is now available and brings day-1 support for Horizon Forbidden West.
Horizon Forbidden West launches on PC on the 21st of March and NVIDIA is delivering Day-1 support with its latest GeForce Game Ready Driver 551.86 WHQL. This new driver comes with support for the game along with support for Portal with RTX which also incorporates DLSS Ray Reconstruction and RTX IO. Besides that, there are also game and general bug fixes which are addressed in this new driver release.
We have previously covered the PC requirements for Horzion Forbidden West which demands a GeForce RTX 4080 GPU or above to play the game at 4K@60 FPS with everything turned to max.
Based on what NVIDIA has put out, a GeForce RTX 3070 GPU is recommended for 1440p 60 FPS and thanks to the scalable nature of the game settings, it can even be played on entry-level GPUs such as the GeForce GTX 1650.
Game Ready for Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition
This new Game Ready Driver provides the best gaming experience for the latest new games supporting DLSS 3 technology including Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition. Further support for new titles leveraging NVIDIA DLSS technology includes the latest DLSS 3.5 update for Portal with RTX which introduces DLSS Ray Reconstruction and NVIDIA RTX IO.
