Netflix and Riot Games have released the official trailer for the second and final chapter of Arcane. The animated series, based on the popular MOBA League of Legends is set to premiere this November and aims to wrap up the series with the conclusion to the story of Vi and Jinx.
The trailer, set on Ashnikko’s new single “Paint The Town Blue,” offers fans a glimpse into the escalating conflict between the topside city of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun. Viewers can expect to see the complex relationship between the two sisters take centre stage as they find themselves on opposite sides of a brewing war.
Within the trailer, there were several key moments including Jinx emerging as a symbol of revolution for Zaun’s citizens. Her iconic blue hair can be seen as a rallying point for the undercity while her sister, Vi can be seen wearing the Hextech gauntlets and joining forces with Piltover’s enforcers.
The trailer also showcases Caitlyn taking on a higher role by forming an alliance with Ambessa. Finally, if you were locked in, there were glimpses of potential new characters including Warwick (Vander). Hopefully, we’ll get to see more screen time of him in the upcoming finale.
Some of the voices behind the characters include Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, Ella Purnell as Jinx, and Katie Leung as Caitlyn. They are joined by new additions to the cast, including Reed Shannon as Ekko, Amirah Vann as Sevika, and Ellen Thomas as Ambessa.
It won’t be long before more news about Arcane releases as Netflix has announced that additional information about the series will be revealed during its Geeked Week Live Fan Event on 19 September.
Netflix is available starting from S$13.98/month and you can click here to subscribe to the service.
