MSI QD-OLED Gaming Monitors Receive New Firmware Update, DSC Switch Added Among Various Fixes 1

MSI is working on a trio of new QD-OLED gaming monitors featuring Samsung Display technology, up to 240Hz refresh rates, and more.

At CES 2024, MSI unveiled a wide range of QD-OLED gaming monitors which we reported here. Well, it looks like the company has even more goodies in its bag and is preparing three new QD-OLED models which will hit markets soon. These three new monitors include:

  • MPG 341CQPX (34" / 3440x1440 / Curved / 240Hz / Glossy)
  • MAG 321UP (32" / 3840x2160 / Flat / 165Hz / Glossy)
  • MAG 271QPX (26" / 2560x1440 / Flat / 240Hz / Glossy)

    According to the information revealed by @kuroberumo, the top model in the new lineup will be the MPG 341CQPX QD-OLED, which is a 34.18" model with an 1800R curved panel based on Samsung technology. The monitor features a resolution of 3440x1440 (UWQHD) and has a peak brightness of 250 nits (SDR) and 1000 nits (HDR) while featuring True Black 400 compliance. The monitor has a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and features a glossy screen with an anti-reflection coating.

    Then there are the two MAG QD-OLED models, which include the 321UP, which is a 32" variant with the same Samsung Display measuring 31.5" in a flat glossy design with anti-reflection coating. The monitor has a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 (UHD) and features a refresh rate of 165Hz. The MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 is a 26.5" design with a 2560x1440 (WQHD) resolution and a refresh rate of up to 240Hz.     All three QD-OLED gaming monitors from MSI come with two HDMI 2.1 and a single DP1.4a port. Neither the release date nor the pricing are currently mentioned, but we can expect these models to hear more about these models around Computex 2024, which is just two months away from now.
