MSI Intros Next-Gen “AI PC” Laptops & Gaming Handhelds Powered By Intel Core Ultra 200V “Lunar Lake” CPUs

MSI has introduced its latest creator & productivity laptops and its latest Claw 8 AI+ handheld with Intel's Core Ultra 200V "Lunar Lake" CPUs.

MSI just announced several new products at the IFA 2024 Berlin event, expanding its catalog with the latest mobile devices powered by Intel's latest Core Ultra 200V "Lunar Lake" CPUs. These are the Gaming, and Business And Productivity laptops aimed at executing faster operations and leveraging the AI capabilities of their latest AI chips.

MSI has also brought a brand new MSI Claw 8 AI+ handheld, which is the first Windows 11 gaming handheld featuring the Core Ultra series 2 processor and is expected to hit retail shelves in early 2025.

By powering its new laptops using the AMD Ryzen AI 300 and Intel Lunar Lake processors, MSI is making its notebooks up to three times faster in TOPs compared to the previous generation. Through the CPU, iGPU, and NPU combined, the laptops can offer up to 120 TOPS of AI performance. Apart from the excellent AI performance, the laptops will also be equipped with optimized comprehensive software and services from over 100 independent software makers to ensure better productivity.

MSI has also introduced a brand-new lineup called "Venture", which will bring more business and productivity laptops. These are the laptops that are powered by Intel's newly launched Lunar Lake Core Ultra Series 2 processors and will be available in 14-17-inch display sizes. The laptops will feature OLED panels with 100% DCI-P3 color space for vibrant color reproduction and incredibly high contrast for visually appealing images.

The Venture series laptops will be equipped with 100W USB-C power delivery charging, ensuring the laptops can also charge quickly apart from offering a significantly higher battery life than the previous generation laptops. Venture laptops will come with MSI exclusive AI solution and AI Engine for various tasks like adjusting performance light, audio, visual, etc using the AI Intelligence.

The new laptops powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors include Stealth A16 AI+, Summit A16 AI+, Prestige A16 AI+, and Creator A16 AI+. These laptops offer 2.8x more TOPs than the previous AMD Ryzen processors and are ready for gaming and productivity. The Stealth A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+ are specifically designed for enthusiast gamers by equipping them with the Ryzen AI 300 CPUs paired with NVIDIA's RTX 40 series graphics cards.

Despite the powerful hardware, the laptops will feature a slim and lightweight body via a magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis for giving the laptops a premium look without adding much weight. Similarly, the Summit A16 AI+ and Prestige A16 AI+ are also lightweight laptops but offer MSI exclusive AI-drive software, MSI AI Engine, and MSI AI Noise Cancelation Pro for various productivity workloads.
