Minisforum UM760 Slim is a palm-size mini PC weighing just 1.48 lbs and brings efficient cooling for the AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS chip.

The popular mini-PC manufacturer, Minisforum has announced the launch of its new UM760 Slim mini PC powered by the Zen 4 architecture. The UM760M Slim offers powerful computing performance inside a chassis that can fit into a palm. Fulfilling modern needs, the UM760 Slim is a highly portable solution for users whether they want to game or work on the go.

UM760 Slim is powered by the Zen 4-based AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS APU, which is a 6-core/12-thread processor clocked at 4.3GHz/5GHz(Base/Boost) frequency. Having a TDP range of just 35-54W, it's also highly power-efficient, and with an efficient cooling system installed, it keeps the overheating at bay. The cooler uses a big blower-style fan that runs at <35dB in performance mode, ensuring silent operation while users can execute intensive workloads.

Ryzen 5 7640HS offers powerful Radeon 760M integrated graphics, which is capable of playing most video games without the need for a discrete GPU. Not just gaming, the GPU can run graphical-oriented workloads such as 3D rendering, photo editing, and Video editing and support up to 8K resolution at 60Hz and 4K resolution at 240Hz, ensuring users can power high-end monitors.

By default, the UM760M Slim comes with the 16GB/1TB configuration but the UM760M Slim can support up to 96GB of DDR5 memory with up to 5600MHz speed. The storage can be upgraded up to 4TB with support of up to 7000MB/s for quick boot and data transfer.

Equipped with modern connectivity features, it offers high bandwidth for wireless internet through its WiFi 6E adapter but also supports a 5G wired network for ultra-low latency. There is a USB4 port for delivering a staggering 40Gbps transfer rate and with multiple USB ports at the front and rear, it can allow up to four more devices to be connected. Plus there is a 3.5mm jack for audio devices and a Clear CMOS button for easy troubleshooting.

Minisforum has equipped the UM760M Slim with Windows 11 and Copilot to keep up with modern AI needs and provides various accessories inside the package, which also includes a wall mounting kit.

The Minisforum UM760M is available for purchase for US$349 and is ready to ship in several parts of the world.
