ASUS & Gigabyte X870/X870E motherboard prices are up as high as €700 for the EU region but much lower for the UK in early retail listings.

Most motherboard manufacturers have readied their new X870 and X870E chipset motherboards for the recently launched AMD Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" CPUs. Many of them already revealed their lineup a few weeks ago and have created dedicated showcase pages on their websites. However, as of now the official MSRPs of these motherboards are still unknown but the new leak gives us a sneak peek.

It's not far from now when motherboard makers will launch their X870/X870E motherboards for the existing Ryzen 7000, 8000, and the newly launched 9000 series but we have got the leaked prices of the ASUS motherboard lineup from the popular leaker @momomo_us.

The ASUS X870/X870E motherboards will have several boards under the Prime, TUF, and ROG series and according to the leak, the ASUS motherboards look quite expensive in the EU region.

These are the 8 ASUS X870/X870E motherboards planned to launch this month but the pricing information of the ROG STRIX X870-I GAMING WIFI is missing. This leak suggests that the UK will have better prices. This indicates that these motherboards can drop in price once the embargo is lifted. Nonetheless, we can see that the X870 ASUS motherboards will start from £199.87, which is around US$222 and will go up to US$525 for the flagship motherboard ROG Crosshair X870E HERO.

In the same thread, the leaker also listed the prices of two X870 Gigabyte motherboards, namely: X870 AORUS Elite WiFi 7 and X870E AORUS Elite WF7 ICE, both of which are Gigabyte budget offerings.

The Gigabyte motherboard pricing was also leaked by Videocardz, and this was the X870A Elite WiFi 7, which appeared on the GALAXUS and JACOB retail websites for the same €323. The price leaked by @momomo_us for this edition was a bit higher but it's expected that it will come down when the embargo is lifted.

Users who want to go for upgrades such as better VRM, IO and cooling capabilities on the new motherboards can opt for the X870/X870E boards but the X670/X670E motherboards are already available for cheaper prices. The Zen 5 series can also run easily on the B650/B650E motherboards but users may also wait for the B850 chipset motherboards if they plan to purchase the Ryzen 9000 CPUs later.
