Intel's Arc A580 graphics card might be the only interesting GPU that is expected to launch in Q4 2023 and its latest benchmarks have been leaked.

Back in August, we got to see the first benchmarks of the Intel Arc A580 graphics card within the Geekbench database. The GPU has once again shown up after two months and this time with an even better performance score which leads the AMD Radeon RX 7600 and GeForce RTX 3050 GPU series.

Starting with the specifications, the Intel Arc A580 features 24 cores, 384 EUs, and 3072 ALUs which are clocked at an official graphics clock of 1700 MHz but the benchmark reports speeds of up to 2.4 GHz which is in line with the other two Arc A770 and Arc A750 graphics cards. The graphics card will be offering 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM across a 256-bit bus interface with up to 512 GB/s bandwidth and a TBP of 185W.

As for the performance, the graphics card scored 88,019 points within the OpenCL benchmark at the same 2.4 GHz clock speeds. This is a 6% performance uplift over the previous score which can be a direct result of various driver improvements that the company has made during the past two months. The score also puts the Arc A580 in a 6% lead over the AMD Radeon RX 7600 and is now almost on par with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card.

The biggest advantage however with the Intel Arc A580 8 GB graphics card could be its pricing. The ASRock Challenger OC variant of the graphics card was recently listed for 38,880 Yen at Japanese retailer, Bic Camera, which is a 30% lower price point than the Intel Arc A750 Challenger OC edition from ASRock. The card also costs 15% less than the ASRock Radeon RX 7600 Challenger OC GPU and around the same as the RTX 3060. If the same price differences are maintained across the rest of the global markets, then Intel could have a very competitive $179-$199 US solution in its hands.

A leaked slide by Momomo_US shows that Intel itself compares the Arc A580 GPU to the AMD Radeon RX 6600 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics cards. You can also check out some upcoming custom models over here in detail.
