GT360 AIO Liquid Cooler & Orochi Twin-Tower Air-Cooler Launched But Aren’t Official Scythe Products

Recently, there has been the emergence of the GT360 AIO liquid & Orochi Twin-Tower air CPU coolers but despite the Scythe branding on them, they aren't official products from the cooling manufacturer itself.

So, there has been a story behind Scythe's GT360 AIO since we first saw the product surface in January. After leakers such as @9550pro disclosed it, the company denied developing it. However, the product has been listed on what might seem to be the company's Chinese website. The reason why the GT360 AIO CPU cooler gained traction upon its initial reveal was due to the mechanism it operates with, which was something that the markets hadn't seen before.

The GT360 AIO has a 360mm radiator with three 120mm fans onboard, all featuring a black design to compliment the overall color scheme. Now, the more intriguing part of AIO is integrating the pump directly into the radiator pipes.

While we are unaware of why the manufacturer decided to do this modification, it could potentially have some performance benefits, as directly attaching the pump to the pipes will reduce the thermal resistance and faster dissipation since the distance between the CPU and the pump decreases.

The unique pump positioning might elevate the GT360's AIO cooling performance moving ahead, but I am curious about the strain on pipes, which may affect the cooler's longevity but let's not get into that. Apart from the GT360, the company has also unveiled a brand-new air cooler called the Orochi Twin Tower.

This cooler has a bulky design featuring an eight-heat-pipe design along with two 120mm fans operating at a maximum speed of 3000 RPM. Yet again, the air cooler comes with an all-black design and the company's branding in circular engravements. The cooler supports AM4/AM5 and LGA 115x/1200/1700 platforms, making it ideal for modern-day adoption.

Scythe's cooling products are indeed reputable, and we have reviewed some of their products in the past. However, we can't be sure about GT360 AIO liquid or the Orochi air cooler since they are not even from Scythe themselves & we have yet to see how they perform in real-world conditions. In terms of pricing, the GT360 & Orochi Twin Tower coolers are listed on the Chinese marketplace JD.com, but regional availability isn't confirmed yet.
