Beelink Unveils Next-Gen SER9 Mini-PC, Featuring Top Specs With AMD’s Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 APU & $999 US Pricing

Mini-PCs featuring AMD's Ryzen AI 300 APUs lineup have finally surfaced, with none other than Beelink unveiling its SER9 design.
AMD's Ryzen AI 300 APUs have taken the mobile segment by storm, as the architecture has seen massive adoption from laptop manufacturers such as MSI and ASUS. However, in the mini-PC segment, the utilization of Team Red's "Ryzen AI 300" SKUs has been slowed down.
Still, Beelink has decided to jump onto the bandwagon earlier than everyone else, revealing its new Beeline SER9 mini-PC. This boasts top-notch performance and comes with nice cooling capabilities, making it optimal for gaming and intensive workloads.
Starting off with specifications, the Beeline SER9 Mini PC features AMD's Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 APU, which offers four Zen 5 and eight Zen 5c cores and a Radeon 890M "RDNA 3.5" iGPU based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture overclockable up to 2900MHz.
The APU features decent graphical performance, and according to the company's benchmarks, the mini-PC provides 70-90 FPS at Black Myth: Wukong and around 120-130 FPS on Counter-Strike 2.
So overall, the Beeline SER9 is quite capable, allowing consumers to leverage high-end gaming performance through a compact device.
Other specs include 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory and dual M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0x4 slots which can support up to 4 TB of memory. IO includes 2 USB 2.0, 2 USB 3.2 10 Gbps, 1 USB Type-C 10 Gbps, a single USB4 40 Gbps port, HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a single 2.5GbE LAN port. The Mini PC offers WIFI 6 capabilities (Intel AX200) and supports Bluetooth 5.2.
The manufacturer has also shared some CPU performance figures, which show that the onboard Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 APU manages to score 2,049 points in single-core and 23,580 points in multi-core at Cinebench R23. So in the performance department, the Beeline SER9 is quite decorated and will surely stack up against the top options in the mini-PC markets, simply due to the capabilities AMD's Strix Point platform brings onboard, not to mention the 50 AI TOPS computing power as well.
Cooling is provided by the MSC2.0 system which features a large air intake fan on the bottom that is used to dissipate heat out of the exhaust vent and can cool up to 65W TDP while operating at a near-silent mode. The baseplate features a vapor chamber design which further extends the cooling capabilities of the SER9 Mini PC from Beelink. The SSDs also get a dedicated heatsink.
In terms of the overall design, Beelink's SER9 mini-PC features a design language similar to that of its previous-gen counterparts, such as the Beelink SE7. The key difference is the exclusion of an integrated power supply, which the firm has compensated by providing integrated speakers and apparently an "AI microphone". The unit comes in four different colors, mainly Frost Silver, Amber Orange, Emerald Green, and Dark Sky Grey. The device measures 135x135x44.7mm.
Beelink's SER9 Mini PC will be available at a discounted price of $999 US on launch. Given the Strix Point platform onboard, we expect the device to pack a punch. With the previous Phoenix SKUs dominating the mini-PC segment, we expect the Ryzen AI 300 APUs to sustain the hype further as we move into the next-gen.
