ASUS Wants To Trade In Your Old GeForce GPU When Buying New RTX 4080 & 4070 Ti Cards

Beginning today, ASUS UK is rolling out its GPU Trade-In program, where consumers who purchase a new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or RTX 4080 GPU from the company can directly sell their older NVIDIA or AMD graphics cards.

The new GPU Trade-In program from ASUS UK will be live starting today and will go through March 17, 2023. Users will need to find participating sellers of ASUS's program to receive cashback and purchase a new ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or RTX 4080 graphics card. The amount will vary depending on the GPU traded in, but users can anticipate between £50 to £300. This may not be a glamorous amount for consumers, but it does allow some users to relieve themselves of older tech.

The graphics cards that qualified for trade-in are the least expensive GPUs from ASUS. The ASUS Radeon RX 5500 GPU will only get consumers £50, while the ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 Ti will grant consumers £300. Missing from the above list of purchasable graphics cards in the company's trade-in program is the ASUS TUF Gaming non-overclocking series.
