ASUS Offers AMD AGESA 1.1.0.0 BETA BIOS Firmware For Its X670E AM5 Motherboard Lineup

ASUS has also rolled out the AMD AGESA 1.1.0.0 BIOS firmware for its X670E AM5 motherboard lineup with a total of 10 boards supported.
Following ASRock, ASUS has now become the second major motherboard manufacturer to roll out its BETA BIOS based on the AMD AGESA 1.1.0.0 BIOS firmware. Like ASRock, it looks like the first wave of BIOS updates is rolling out to the higher-end X670E series with a total of 10 boards within the ROG Crosshair, ROG STRIX, and TUF Gaming segment receiving the newest BIOS support.
The BIOS was listed by ASUS's in-house overclocker, SAFEDISK, and posted on the ROG forums. There is still no information about the specific changes that this BIOS includes but support for AMD's Ryzen 7000G APUs and heightened stability should be one of the many highlights. Users interested in trying out the new BIOS can grab them from the respective links provided below:
1) Update AGESA to AMI ComboAM5 1100
Note - If the BIOS version is different, the .cmo file of the previous BIOS cannot be used (BSOD problem) so need a new setting
Update: ASUS has also rolled out the AGESA 1.1.0.0 BIOS firmware for its B650 motherboards & can be found below:
One thing about BETA BIOS updates is that they are only useful if you are facing issues with your existing BIOS firmware so if you don't have any major problems, then it is better to stick with the official release for your motherboard. Once more information comes out and if the new 1.1.0.0 BIOS firmware does deliver some major improvements or stability updates, then you can decide whether or not to update your motherboard.
With that said, expect more information in the coming month and we have also been told that a range of new cost-effective AM5 options are also on the way to expand the ecosystem and make it more viable an option for budget and mainstream users.
