It looks like AMD's Ryzen 7000 CPUs are now starting to witness impressive price cuts, as the top-tier Ryzen 9 7950X and the Ryzen 7 7700X SKUs are now available for "bargain" prices.

AMD has decided to offer extensive price cuts in its Ryzen 7000 CPU portfolio, likely to clear off inventory and shift focus towards the new Ryzen 9000 series chips. This time, AMD is offering two of its decent CPUs with a price tag that might seem attractive to several consumers out there. For those reluctant to switch towards the new AMD Zen 5 CPUs, maybe because of performance issues or even the pricing, Zen4 is still a robust platform, providing great price-to-performance ratios.

Starting with the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, the CPU is now available for around $410, which marks around a 50% discount from its original $699 MSRP, but we won't take that into factor here. Given that the average pricing of the Ryzen 9 7950X lies around $450-$500, the new price tag is certainly an impressive discount, and if you are looking for a high-end CPU option without going the Intel route, the Ryzen 9 7950X might do the job here.

For comparison, the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X is available for as low as $619 US which is $30 US below its MSRP but still, you can't beat the value you are getting with the Ryzen 9 7950X which is just a tad bit slower and in games, it's very similar while being available for over $200 US less.

  • AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16-Core, 32-Thread Desktop CPU - $410.20 (Amazon)
  • If you are looking for a more budget-oriented option, the Ryzen 7 7700X has also seen a decent price drop, retailing at around $220 at Amazon. Under the $250 segment, this might be the undisputed choice, given that Intel's 14th Gen platform is plagued with instability issues, promoting consumers to look at Team Red's camp. The 8-core processor stacks up pretty well for modern-day gaming workloads, and with its new price tag, the Ryzen 7 7700X seems like a no-brainer.

The AMD Ryzen 7 9700X costs $349 US at the moment which is $10 US below its MSRP but for $130 US lower, the Ryzen 7 7700X is an absolutely phenomenal deal.

  • AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core, 16-Thread Desktop CPU - $220.78 (Amazon)
  • To top it all off, the above-mentioned deals include two "free" titles: Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 and Unknown 9: Awakening. AMD's Ryzen 7000 CPU pricing is indeed going downhill, and the trend is expected to continue, at least until available SKUs reach a point where they don't bother the inventory. This means that consumers still have time to snag up Team Red's processors at impressive discounts.
