AMD's flagship RDNA 3 GPUs have dropped to their lowest in UK, with the Radeon RX 7900 XTX down to £829 and 7900 XT down to £629.

AMD's RDNA 3 GPU lineup has been receiving extensive price cuts for a year, but the newest drop in the pricing of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX & Radeon RX 7900 XT hasn't been seen before since the official release.

UK retailer Ebuyer has slashed the pricing of AMD's flagship RDNA 3 SKU, dropping it from £779.99 to £629.99, marking almost a 19.2% drop. If you factor in the initial launch MSRP of £1049, the discount is nearly a 40% one, which is indeed huge considering the dynamics of the GPU markets, especially those in the UK. Similarly, the Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPUs are now available close to 800 GBP which marks a big reduction of -11%.

Now, the price drop is the lowest for what we have seen in the EU, and probably globally as well, since the last nearest discount that we saw with the Radeon RX 7900 XT is in the US, when the SKU was retailing for around $699. It's indeed astonishing to see the GPU retailing at this price, and the variant receiving the incentive is the XFXs MERC 310 model, which not only boasts impressive performance but is equipped with excellent cooling capabilities to cater to the enormous power draw of the onboard chip.

  • XFX SPEEDSTER MERC 310 Radeon RX 7900 XT 20G -  £629.99 (Ebuyer)
  • MSI Gaming Trio Classic Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24G - £829.98 (Ebuyer)
  • XFX SPEEDSTER MERC 310 Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24G - £839.99 (Ebuyer)
  • PowerColor Hellhound OC Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24G - £839.99 (Ebuyer)
  • It's time for UK consumers to get an RDNA 3 beauty. Putting it up against NVIDIA's nearest competitor, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, the discounted Radeon RX 7900 XT wrecks its counterpart, dominating in the price-per-dollar ratios, which is why AMD could potentially take the lead in this segment, given that the price drop stays consistent across all AIB partners. Still, we certainly don't see it happening.

The overall sentiment in the GPU markets is indeed bearish. We have seen extensive price cuts in the EU and US markets, affecting both NVIDIA and AMD's SKUs. We do expect further price drops in the future as well, but not as radically as the currently offered AMD deal, which is expected to run out quickly, given that it starts to attract consumer interest.
