AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Drops To Its Lowest Price Yet of $830 US, 8% Below MSRP

Yesterday, we reported that the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX & 7900 XT graphics card prices were falling like a roller coaster across China and now it looks like we have got our best deal on an RX 7900 XT custom model at Newegg.
Multiple AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards are now available below their MSRP but it looks like one custom model, in particular, has dropped down to the lowest price yet. This variant is the ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming which features a high-end cooling system with a 3-fan cooler and 2.5 slot form factor.
The card was previously listed for $879.99 US but it looks like Newegg has decided to lower the price even further down to just $829.99 US which is an 8% drop over its MSRP and now brings it closer to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti MSRP which retails at a starting price of $799.99 US. It looks like there might be a good reason why the prices may have seen this much of a cut.
In the most recent graphics card retail statistics from Mindfactory (shared by Techepiphany), we can see that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti continues to be a popular choice followed by the RTX 4080 at 3rd spot.

The Radeon RX 7900 XT only managed to achieve around half the sales of the NVIDIA card and from what we have heard, the sales don't look that great globally either. It is likely that the recent cuts within China and these price drops are AMD's attempt to catch the interest of gamers and have them purchase an RDNA 3 GPU. It will be interesting to see if the high-end Radeon RX 7900 XTX also gets similar treatment in terms of price cut but despite its higher price, it seems to sell comparatively well.
