Zephyr Unveils Fancy Pink-Colored GeForce RTX 4070 GPU In ITX Form Factor

Zephyr, the Chinese GPU manufacturer, has unveiled a single-fan variant of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070, being the first one to feature an ITX design.
Generally, NVIDIA's Ada Lovelace lineup doesn't feature many "compact" models, which has hindered the adoption of the architecture in SFF builds to a certain extent, but Zephyr is one of the AIB partners that has offered a mini-ITX of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, and the firm looks to do the same with the superior GeForce RTX 4070 as well. Zephyr showcased their new release on the Chinese social media platform Bilibili. Here are the specifics.
Starting with the specifications, the Zephyr's ITX GeForce RTX 4070 features compact dimensions measuring 172mm x 123mm x 42mm, which makes it the smallest variant of the NVIDIA GPU in the market. It utilizes the AD104-250 GPU silicon and comes with 12 GB of GDDR6X memory onboard, so there are not many changes compared to traditional models. Apart from that, the GPU boasts its traditional white and pink color scheme, which some consumers may like, but for me, it is a bit odd.
However, when squeezing NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070 GPU into an ITX form factor, doubts regarding performance arise, and fortunately, Zephyr has provided us with some benchmarks to reveal the capabilities of their design. The firm reveals that the GPU can run eight degrees cooler under 2400 RPM of fan speed compared to a dual-fan design under the famous Furmark benchmarking application, which does show that Zephyr did nail the heat dissipation here. However, the company didn't mention what variant they were comparing their ITX GPU with, so doubts remain.
Apart from Furmark, Zephyr showcased 3DMark testing as well. The GPU managed to secure 4,442 points at Speed Way and 3,852 points at Steel Nomad, which is pretty close to other models.
In terms of release date, Zephyr says that initial variants are already sold out, and new stock is expected to drop by mid-July. Global availability and pricing haven't been confirmed yet. The AIB also launched its GeForce RTX 4060 ITX a while back and also introduced a high-end 4080 SUPER Valkyrie variant with a custom liquid cooling design which you can check out over here.
