XFX has introduced new Phoenix Nirvana white variants featuring the AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE & RX 7800 XT GPUs.

The debut of the Phoenix Nirvana custom models was indeed a surprise pulled off by XFX for Radeon enthusiasts, as it is seen as a premium and high-end solution for AMD GPUs. While the company initially focused on the higher-end Radeon RX 7900 XTX cards, XFX has now launched brand new variants, the Radeon RX 7800 XT & RX 7900 GRE, both featuring white-colored flavors.

The AMD Radeon models under the Phoenix Nirvana white lineup are the Radeon RX 7900 GRE and the Radeon RX 7800 XT. Previously, a black color scheme was used on the high-end Radeon RX 7900 XT, but now XFX has decided to introduce the Phoenix Nirvana magic with mid-to-high range options. Starting with the overall design, the white counterparts aren't much different from the black ones, and XFX just decided to re-color the GPU shroud. The Phoenix Nirvana black did feature red RGB accents at the front, but the white model has no such accent.

In terms of overall dimensions, the XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE & RX 7800 XT Phoenix Nirvana white GPUs are 33.7 cm long, with a width and thickness of 13.2 cm & 5.9 cm, respectively. The dominant change made with these new variants was beefing up the heatsink onboard since it now comes with the "Ghost Thermal 4.0," which features 216 aluminum fins, eight 6mm copper heat pipes, and a large vacuum vapor chamber baseplate that covers the GPU and the VRAM modules. The fans onboard are magnetically attached as well, allowing easy access.

With such hefty cooling onboard, it's only obvious that XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE & RX 7800 XT Phoenix Nirvana GPUs won't feature stock speeds, and a similar case is with the new white models since the Radeon RX 7900 GRE variant comes with slightly bumped-up clock speeds at 2394 MHz boost, while the Radeon RX 7800 XT sticks with the stock clocks. Overall, the Phoenix Nirvana lineup is sure a premium offering by XFX, competing with the likes of ASUS's ROG Strix not only in terms of design but performance as well.

For pricing, the XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE Phoenix Nirvana White is available for 4299 RMB or $670, while the XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT will retail for 4099 RMB or $640. Global availability isn't certain yet, hence the above prices are applicable in China for now.
