Vietnamese Buyer Gets Scammed, Finds A Pair of Women Shoes Inside GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Box
A Vietnamese buyer got scammed by a Thai seller when he found out that his GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU purchase had something totally unexpected.
Scammers around the world come up with some unique and interesting ways to scam innocent buyers who have worked hard to save enough money to buy their favorite purchases. One such case has been highlighted by I_Leak_VN whose Facebook friend, a Vietnamese-based dealer, got scammed by a Thai merchant.

The story is simple, the Vietnamese dealer approached a Thai seller who was selling the Manli GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU. The buyer bought the graphics card and paid the asking price for it however when the package was actually shipped, it turned out that the box was missing a GPU.
The packaging done is brilliant with lots of foam around the GPU box to make it feel like there was some heft to the box. Upon opening up the box, not only was it in wary condition but the GPU was somehow replaced with a pair of women's shoes. These box heel shoes also seem to have some wear and tear. The scammer could've at least put in a new pair even if he was going to scam the individual.
Alas, there's no solution to this as the scammer hid his actual identity & can make several accounts on 3rd party or resell websites to continue his illegal activities such as this. This is one of many cases where users can be scammed and it's always wise to check the legitimacy of the buyer if you are getting used hardware and if you feel even a single hint of something being fishy, it's wise to back out of that deal otherwise you could be one of those people who'll get a pair of shoes or in some worse cases, a pile of rocks or sand.
