Thunderobot, has unveiled its cutting-edge QD-OLED gaming monitor, the "Silver Wing", which comes with dual mode technology.

Thunderobot is responsible for some of the high-end releases in the Chinese domestic markets. Previously, the firm showcased its MIX mini-PC, which featured NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs and much more. Translating its premium nature into the monitor segment, the firm has revealed its newest QD-OLED gaming monitor, which features top-notch specifications and a unique futuristic design.

Starting with features, the Thunderobot Sliver Wing gaming monitor comes with a 31.5-inch QD-OLED panel, and the most interesting part is that the Sliver Wing is also equipped with a dedicated switching mode. We have witnessed this trend in recently released monitors from LG and others, where panel refreshes, and resolutions are massively changed simply with a click. In the case of Silver Wing, users can opt for a 4K 240 Hz mode or an FHD 480 Hz display, with the latter suitable for gaming applications.

In terms of the onboard panel, the Sliver Wing has a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, a 98.5% DCI-P3 color gamut, and a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, ensuring the best quality for its consumers. It has an exceptionally low response rate of 0.03 ms, so for gaming performance, Thunderobot's newest release is no match for domestic competitors, and with the dual-mode option, media consumption would be a delight.

The Silver Wing QD-OLED Gaming monitor has DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and a 90W PD Type-C port for onboard interfaces. Moreover, Thunderobot has launched a more budget-friendly alternative under the same branding, which includes a 2K 240Hz display and FAST IPS technology.

Speaking of pricing, Thunderobot's Sliver Wing QD-OLED monitor with the dual-mode feature is expected to retail at 9,999 yuan or $1,380 which is certainly in the higher range. The more budget-friendly alternative will go for 1,699 yuan or $235, but in general terms, both monitors look to be solid releases, and we hope to see them getting reviewed as well.
