The JF13K Top-Down CPU Air Cooler Now Comes In A Mini Flavor, 260W Cooling For Just $30 US

The JIUSHARK JF13K top-down CPU cooler which we covered earlier this year is now back in a more compact design that still offers 260W of cooling at an attractive price point.

The JIUSHARK JF13K Diamond CPU cooler is one of the most unique and high-end top-down air-cooling solutions in the market. The CPU cooler offers up to 265W of cooling and features a dual-fan design while retailing for just $40 US. Now, the company has launched a brand new variant of the JF13K Diamond known as the JF13K Diamond Mini which also adopts a similar design but offers a compact form factor.

Coming to the design and aesthetics, the JIUSHARK JF13K Diamond Mini adopts a similar dual-fan design that rests on a large aluminum heatsink that connects to the CPU baseplate through heat pipes. The baseplate is a CNC-milled design that uses a micro-convex process for better thermal conductivity. The baseplate is attached with 6 copper heat pipes which utilize a full reflow-soldering process. The aluminum fin array also uses the same reflow design & comes with an air-duct layout which carries hot airflow away from the heatsink.

As for the fans, they feature a hydraulic ball bearing and ARGB design. The fans are 100mm each and operate between 800-2200 RPM, offering airflow between 26.18-47.54 CFM. The noise output is rated at 14.44-30.2 dBA. The fans are 25mm thick. The whole unit weighs 1210g. In terms of cooling performance, the Top-Down CPU air cooler has a rated thermal dissipation power of up to 260W.

In terms of size, the JIUSHARK JF13K Diamond Mini measures 204x123x101mm while the standard variant measures 241x121x92mm. It is compatible with the latest AMD (AM4/AM5) and Intel (LGA 1200/115X/1700) sockets and comes with support brackets for both. The top-down designs leave up to 59mm clearance for memory and 50mm clearance over the I/O and VRM heatsinks. Since the fans are mounted at the top of the heatsink and blow air toward the bottom, you can see reduced VRM temperatures too. The company claims 10-20C lower MOSFET temps with the JIUSHARK JF13K Diamond Mini cooler.

The JIUSHARK JF13K Diamond Mini Top-Down CPU Air cooler is available in White ARGB, Black ARGB, and a stealth-black design with prices starting at 219-239 RMB which is around $30 US. That's a very affordable price and the cooler would make a lot of sense in a Mini-ITX build. We would love to see more cooling options of this kind in other markets too!
