The unit we received comes in a large package with a picture of the PSU on the front. The front also lists several features such as the power rating, the 80 Plus Gold rating, and features such as ATX 3.1 Certification, PCIe 5.1 Ready & 200% power excursion.

The backside also offers a list of features which we have detailed above and we will get to more details below.

Within the package, the PSU unit is held between foam packaging to protect it during shipping while the cables are jammed next to it.

The PSU comes with a manual and four screws. There are also four screws supplied with the PSU for installation within your casing.

The PSU itself is packaged in a cloth wrap.

Out of the package, the Super Flower Combat GF series PSUs offer a distinctive look. They are compact in design which is great for users whose PCs can't support the extended ATX designs that some of the higher power rated PSUs adopt.

On the back, you can see the power plug, the power switch, and a large mesh panel that acts as an exhaust vent.

Now depending on how you use the PSU, the bottom panel reads the specifications and power ratings. The PSU is rated to output a maximum of 70.5A and 850W through the 12V rails.

The sides of the PSU have big Combat GF series logos.

Coming to the connectors, there are two 8-pin CPU connectors, four PCI-e 8-pin connectors (inc. 2 CPU), an ATX 24-pin (14+10 pin) ATX connector, and four 6-pin connectors for peripherals.

The cables within the packaging pouch include the ATX 20+4 pin, two 4+4 pin CPU connectors, a single 16-pin PCIe cable, 2 PCIe 6+2 connectors, 3 SATA connectors, and 1 MOLEX connector.

Super Flower's brand reputation is regarded as one of the best in the PSU industry. They are known for quality products and the Combat GF PSU lineup is an extension to their portfolio in mainstream segments. The Combat GF series are well-built designs with good power ratings which should be enough to meet the demands of a majority of PC builders. The PSU comes with ATX 3.1 standards and includes a PCIe 16-pin adapter cable if you plan on using an RTX 40 GPU. It should also be mentioned that the Combat GF 850W PSU is currently available for $109 US which makes it a great solution at this price as you'd mostly find 750W ATX 3.1 products around the $100 US mark.
