Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart On PC Offer Over 200 FPS With NVIDIA RTX Enabled, DLSS 3 & RTX IO Offer Big Boost 1

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart launches on PC tomorrow, featuring NVIDIA's RTX features such as DLSS 3, RTX IO, and Ray Tracing which improve visuals & performance.

Not only is the game going to feature support for DLSS 3 and Ray tracing, but it is also one of the latest titles to take advantage of RTX IO GPU Decompression which should help slash the loading times and deliver a seamless transition through the environments while quickly loading all high-quality textures. We dive into more details in our coverage here. The game specifications are also slightly on the higher side if you want to enjoy it with all the visual goodness that it has to offer & the good thing is that it comes with DLSS support.

Nixxes confirmed that the game will also offer support for AMD FSR 2 & XeSS which is a great thing to hear for the PC platform. In terms of performance, the new performance trailer shows the game running with and without DLSS 3 enabled. Ray tracing was enabled and on 4K resolution, the game delivers up to around 60-80 FPS at native resolution and a speed of almost 3x using DLSS 3 with the maximum FPS going beyond 200.

According to NVIDIA themselves, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 can easily achieve 140+ FPS with everything including ray tracing effects maxed out while leveraging DLSS 3. Older NVIDIA GeForce 900 series and above GPU owners can also take advantage of NVIDIA's Reflex technology which can reduce system latency within Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart by up to 48%. This sounds amazing since the game is quite action-packed and requires quick reflexes to hit those jumps and dodges perfectly.

The new PC release also features support for 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 resolutions, triple-monitor Surround gaming, the usual assortment of options to ensure you can play the way that best suits your style, and DualSense controller support, so when playing on a wired connection you can feel in-game actions coming to life in your hands with haptic feedback and dynamic trigger effects.
