Patriot Partners With MSI: Reveals “White” Viper Xtreme DDR5 Memory For MPOWER Motherboard

Patriot has partnered with MSI to launch its brand-new Viper DDR5 memory, which comes in an elegant white design.
April Fool posts spread like wildfire, especially in the tech industry, but there are honest companies like Patriot out there who don't want to "bamboozle" their customers, or at least it seems like. The firm has revealed on its X account that they are partnering up with none other than MSI for their next memory modules, coming under the "Viper Xtreme 5" lineup, which features DDR5 memories from the Patriot.

Well, we are unaware of what type of DDR5 module the new Xtreme could be, but if we compare it to the existing "Black" counterpart, the RAM could feature speeds up to 8200MT/s, or potentially even higher, considering that Patriot has partnered up with MSI. The MSI-Patriot models come with a white design, with an RGB strip running across the memory module, similar to the conventional market options. Patriot has partnered with ASUS's TUF Gaming on their Viper Elite 5 memory modules. It also features a very large heat spreader which is colored in white and has Patriot labels all over it.
Considering that the Patriot Viper DDR5 White memory is targeted at the MSI Z790MPOWER motherboard, we can expect some high-end overclocking capabilities and top-notch speeds out of the box. The MPOWER already supports over DDR5-8000+ memory at a great price point of just $199 US, making it a solid and affordable motherboard for memory overclockers & enthusiasts. We covered the motherboard in detail in our exclusive article published in January, so do check it out.
There is no word on the release date or pricing, but we expect Patriot to update soon, given that April Fools is over, and the announcement has already been made.
