ONDA Launches Super Affordable AMD AM5 & Ryzen 9000 CPU-Ready B650 Motherboards Under $70

ONDA has introduced a duo of budget-focused B650 motherboards for AMD AM5 PC builders which start at less than $70 US.
We have previously covered ONDA's Intel LGA 1700 socket lineup which comes in mATX and Mini-ITX flavors well below the $100 US mark. The company has a known history of offering very budget-focused motherboards and it looks like the company has released its latest offering in the form of the B650M series which comes in black and white flavors.
Starting with the details the ONDA B650M motherboards feature a mATX design with the AMD AM5 socket powered by a 8-phase power delivery solution and a single 8-pin power connector to boot it up. The motherboard currently supports both AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs and Ryzen 8000G APUs but it is reported by ONDA on their Weibo channel that they will soon have a BIOS ready to support next-generation Ryzen 9000 CPUs too based on the Zen 5 core architecture.
Coming back to the motherboard details, the ONDA B650M AM5 motherboard has two small VRM & PCH heatsinks which should do the job just fine. For memory, the motherboard features a pair of DDR5 DIMM slots which can support up to 96 GB capacities with speeds of up to 6000 MT/s+ (OC) & EXPO profiles. The expansion includes a single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and a single PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD slot. There's also a single PCIe 4.0 x4 interface slot. An M.2 WIFI slot is also located that can be equipped with a Realtek WIFI module (bought separately).
In terms of I/O, the ONDA B650M AM5 motherboard features four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, a single GbE LAN port, a 5.1 channel HD audio jack, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI & VGA display outputs while I/O on the internal side includes a USB 3.2 Gen1 header, four SATA III ports, and a 12V RGB header.
So it's quite apparent that the motherboard isn't the most feature-rich design but for $60-$70 US, it offers a great solution for budget AM5 PC builders. You get support for AMD's next-gen Ryzen CPUs & the most basic support that a gamer or budget gamer will need is already there. The black variant costs 499 RMB while the white variant costs 559 RMB which is $68 and $77 US, respectively. Both B650M motherboards are only available in China at the moment.
