NVIDIA’s Next-Gen Titan Graphics Card Does Exist & Based on Flagship Blackwell GPU

NVIDIA reportedly already has a Titan-class graphics card based on its next-gen Blackwell GPU architecture but its launch is doubtful.
NVIDIA's Titan series of graphics cards have long seen no action. The last Titan card was the Titan RTX which launched back in 2018 and features the Turing GPU architecture. Since then, NVIDIA has released two new generations of GPUs, Ampere and Ada Lovelace, both of which didn't see a Titan-class graphics card.
For some time, it was believed that the new "90" class graphics cards were the replacement of the Titan series however, early engineering samples and prototypes of possible Titan-class graphics cards within the Ampere and Ada Lovelace family were spotted online. These designs were very different than the standard RTX "Founders Edition" cards, featuring massive coolers and using 4-slot designs with non-standard PCBs.
According to Kopite7kimi, it looks like NVIDIA already has a Titan-class graphics card as the leaker mentioned that it "exists". There are no reports on what the possible specifications of this monster would look like but they would feature the GB202 GPU with lots of cores & lots of VRAM. The issue is that while such Titan-class graphics cards may exist in the form of prototypes, or early samples, it remains highly unlikely that we would see the launch of such cards.
The NVIDIA GB202 GPU is expected to feature a total of 12 SMs, each with 8 TPCs for a total of 96 TPCs and each TPC will be housing 2 SMs for a total of 192 SMs. The GPU will support a memory bus interface of up to 512-bit which can be cut into different configurations depending on the SKU such as 448-bit, 384-bit, 320-bit, and more unique designs as NVIDIA desires for its next-gen line. The GPU will also support the latest GDDR7 memory modules, offering anywhere from 28 to 32 Gbps pin speeds.
NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4090 already goes for $1599 US and up to $2000 US on several models. The RTX 3090 was a $1499 US card and its bigger brother, the 3090 Ti was $1999 US at launch. NVIDIA is asking top dollar for "90" class graphics cards and if there were to be a Titan card, it should easily break past the $2.5-$3.0K US price range.
Besides cost, another possible reason why we haven't seen a Titan card this long could be its higher power demand which might be rated above 500W since the current 90-series already have a listed TGP of 400-450W. The actual consumption is a totally different story with the cards consuming much lower power than what they are rated at but workstation and AI applications might be able to push these cards to their limits.
This new card might be called the "Titan AI" if it ever sees the light of day, according to RedGamingTech. The "AI" in the naming scheme is ample given all the talks and hype surrounding it. So yeah, it will be interesting if NVIDIA releases a new Titan offering under its Blackwell GPU family but don't keep your hopes up.
