NVIDIA has published its PC performance benchmarks in Ghost of Tsushima running on its GeForce RTX 40 GPUs with & without DLSS 3 technology.

Ghost of Tsushima's Director Cut for PC is now available and NVIDIA is sharing the first benchmarks of the game running at different resolutions on its GeForce RTX 40 "Ada" lineup.

The game became an instant hit on the Sony PlayStation consoles when it was first released and has now come over to the PC platform for a wider audience to enjoy with higher visual fidelity with support for NVIDIA's DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3 and Intel's XeSS technologies. The game gets an extra step up with NVIDIA's RTX technologies which allows users to enable DLAA (Deep Learning Anti Aliasing) for an extra layer of detail over the native resolution which when combined with DLSS frame generation delivers a great experience.

Coming to the performance benchmarks, NVIDIA has shared the tests for Ghost of Tsushima that is running at UHD, QHD and FHD resolutions at native resolution and with DLSS 3 enabled. Starting at 4K, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 series graphics cards deliver over 60 FPS at native resolution and the RTX 4090 manages to boost over 200 FPS when DLSS 3 frame generation is enabled (DLSS performance preset. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 and above manages over 100 FPS at 4K with frame generation enabled.

Moving over to QHD (2560x1440), the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 manages close to 100 FPS while the rest of the NVIDIA RTX 40 "Ada" GPU stack delivers over 100 FPS with DLSS 3 enabled at the quality preset. The GeForce RTX 4090 manages to post almost 250 FPS at this resolution & about 140 FPS at the native resolution.

Lastly, NVIDIA shares the FHD (1920x1080) results using the DLSS 3 frame generation (DLSS quality preset) which manages over 60 FPS natively and over 100 FPS with frame generation across all RTX 40 GPUs. The RTX 4070 SUPER and above GPUs manage over 200 FPS and the RTX 4090 gets close to the 300 FPS mark which is quite the performance gain. NVIDIA also shares the performance of its laptop users which shows that laptop owners with the entry-level RTX 4050 can also enjoy the game, Ghost of Tsushima, on their PCs with over 80 FPS when DLSS 3 technology is enabled.

For those who are planning to play the game on a GeForce RTX 40 GPU, NVIDIA has already released the latest 552.44 WHQL driver package which adds day-0 support for the game so make sure you grab it to get the best experience within the game.
