NVIDIA Announces GeForce RTX 40 “Star Wars Outlaws” Bundle, Free Copy Available With RTX 40 Desktop GPUs & Laptops

NVIDIA has announced its new game bundle which includes a free copy of Star Wars Outlaws, applicable to its GeForce RTX 40 GPUs & laptops.

Developed by Massive Entertainment, Star Wars Outlaws is the next big AAA adventure set within the Star Wars universe. This open-world action-adventure game launches on the 30th of August & those who are planning to buy an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 GPU or Laptop will be able to redeem a free copy of the game bundled with the RTX solutions. The bundle will also include the Force Commando character pack. The bundle will apply to GeForce RTX 4070 and above GPUs / laptops.

Star Wars Outlaws will feature loads of PC-exclusive features and NVIDIA's RTX GPUs will be able to deliver the best quality within the title as the game supports full ray tracing support (RTGI Global Illumination, RT Reflections & RT Shadows) alongside DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction, RTXDI (Dynamic Illumination) and also NVIDIA Reflex to ensure a very smooth gaming experience without Latencies drawbacks.

As for what it will take to run the game on Ultra quality, the PC system requirements published by Massive Entertainment show that the game will require a beefy setup. For maxed-out details, Star Wars Outlaws will require top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 4080 (16 GB) or Radeon RX 7900 XTX (24 GB) GPUs. Considering that ray tracing is involved, it's best to go for NVIDIA's RTX GPUs since those have a lot more RT performance packed within the cores. Interestingly, Massive Entertainment advises users to run the game with upscaler enabled across all resolutions and that it should be set to the Quality preset.

The good thing is that the game will feature support for all three major upscalers including NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 (Frame Gen), FSR 3.0 (Frame Gen), and XeSS 1.3. Following is the full list of PC features to expect from the game at launch:

Earlier, Intel had also confirmed to be the CPU launch partner of Ubisoft's upcoming AAA title. The Snowdrop engine will be specifically optimized for Intel's 14th Gen CPUs though the 14th Gen CPUs themselves are undergoing optimization work to ensure stability to gamers after countless months of issues.
