MSI’s SUPRIM & EXPERT FUZION Cooling Comes To GeForce RTX 4090 & 4080 SUPER GPUs, New Gen AI Designs Revealed

MSI has unveiled its high-end GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM FUZION & 4080 SUPER Expert FUZION cards with built-in AIO liquid cooling solutions & some fancy AI designs.

So at Computex, MSI is finally showing off its ultra high-end GeForce RTX 4090 & RTX 4080 SUPER GPUs which will come in SUPRIM FUZION and EXPERT FUZION designs. As for what these designs have to offer, they come with a hybrid air and liquid cooling design on existing SUPRIM and EXPERT series which expands their cooling capabilities, and the AIO is integrated within the chassis so you don't have to worry about managing the tubes, and all.

Starting at the top, we have the MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM FUZION which is the flagship of this series and comes with the aforementioned integrated liquid-cooled hybrid system which features a low-profile pump and a special fan design that makes use of MSI's grooved fan blades that reduce abnormal vibrations and dampen the voice. The extra liquid reservoir with the added coolant reserves ensures that the GPU is supplied with liquid continuously. The liquid radiator has been patented by MSI and is designed with denser cooling section fins while some of them are welded onto the flat tube surface for additional heat exchange.

Finally, MSI states that its precision-measured short pipe waterway design reduces the length of water pipe lines by 90% and increases pressure by 10% for improved water circulation. The GPU and memory are fitted with a micro fin copper base with a thickened surface to dissipate heat more effectively.

The second card on display is the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER EXPERT FUZION which also comes with a similar design with an integrated liquid cooling hybrid solution and a low-profile pump. The card makes use of push-pull airflow design which is similar to NVIDIA's FE or Founders Edition graphics cards. This setup incorporated one fan on the front and one at the bottom. Plus, the GPU and memory are still attached to the copper baseplate and the patented fan design ensures lower noise and more air pressure. We all know that MSI is using an Aluminum die-casting design for its Expert series as we noted in our review of the RTX 4080 SUPER EXPERT which is a phenomenal graphics card.

While the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER EXPERT FUZION looks very similar to the existing model, it is slightly larger and makes use of the same 12V-2x6 power connector to boot within a 3-slot chassis. The SUPRIM FUZION on the other hand is a monster with a 4.5-slot design and according to MSI, the design is almost at the finalization stage so expect a proper release in the coming months.

Besides its new FUZION lineup, MSI also showcased two brand new cards that have been designed using Generative AI. These include the GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4060 Ti. The 4090 is a SUPRIM X variant with a vapor chamber design and has a large dragon encircling it with just a single fan on the front in green and black colors.

The RTX 4060 features the Gaming X Slim design and has a dual-fan solution with a large dragon head etched in the middle in orange and yellow hues which looks kind of insane. MSI didn't comment on whether they will be releasing such cards to the market but it will be awesome if they sell these as limited edition products.
