MSI’s Super-Late GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X Graphics Card Is Taiwan & China Exclusive

MSI was recently seen launching another RTX 30 series product, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X with the SUPRIM X cooler. This card might come at an unusual time but talking to MSI, we managed to confirm that it is only a regional product that will have limited availability.

The MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X graphics card uses the SUPRIMX cooler and is the first card in the RTX 3060 series to make use of the high-end cooling system. The card packs 8 GB GDDR6X memory that is clocked at 19 Gbps. Do remember that NVIDIA never-released a "SUPER" variant of the RTX 3060 Ti and this card features the same specifications as the Gaming X Trio model with no changes to the core or memory configuration.

The MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X graphics card uses the GA104 GPU with 4864 CUDA cores, 152 Tensor Cores, and a boost clock of 1945 MHz. The card features a 256-bit bus interface that is offering 608 GB/s bandwidth. That is more bandwidth than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti & RTX 4070 which feature a 192-bit bus and 504 GB/s bandwidth. The TDP of the card is configured at 265W.

The new graphics card receives power through a dual 8-pin connector configuration. The card will also provide three DisplayPort 1.4a ports, a single HDMI 2.1 port, & a triple fan design. The card will definitely cost a lot more than the Gaming X Trio variant due to its better cooling solution & the OC design.

We confirmed with MSI that this is a regional product that will only hit retail shelves in China and Taiwan. The company was not able to confirm the pricing with us but it should be close to $350 & $400 US. Pricing itself will depend on the availability of such more which is limited, to begin with.
