MSI Finally Offers GeForce RTX 4060 GPUs In Mini-ITX Flavors With AERO-ITX Designs

MSI has finally introduced two Mini-ITX GeForce RTX 4060 graphics cards utilizing its AERO-ITX design, making them a great fit for small form factor PCs.
The AERO lineup generally is pretty well-known for its more budget-focused design. The AERO ITX lineup offers minimalistic designs that look nice and offer simple yet effective cooling solutions. It should also be mentioned that MSI's AERO and AERO ITX designs usually stick close to the MSRP & that's great for consumers who don't want to pay a premium for fancy-looking cards.
The influx of Mini-ITX models within the Ada Lovelace lineup has been picking up the pace with the majority of the effort being put in by Chinese vendors such as Yeston, Colorful, and the relatively new ZEPHYR. The debut of MSI's "AERO" GeForce RTX 4060 ITX is indeed a great addition since it not only would have a higher global availability, but you will also be getting a reliable product from a reliable vendor.
Moving on to the features, the MSI GeForce RTX 4060 AERO ITX is paired with a single custom-made fan, which has a unique curve that produces greater airflow and air pressure compared to generic & more traditional fan designs in the market. With its two 6mm copper heat pipes onboard, one should expect optimal thermal dissipation without any worry about high temperatures or poor airflow.
In terms of the overall design, well the GPU isn't that well-decorated compared to the likes of Yeston's Cute Pet variants, but that is probably likable for many consumers out there, who rather prefer minimalistic designs. Upholding the tradition, the GPU comes with an overall black-and-white color scheme, with the "subtle" branding of the lineup and the model itself. MSI says that the AERO ITX offers a 40% smaller surface area, is 50% lighter, and offers the same performance as the full-sized RTX 4060 GPUs.
The MSI GeForce RTX 4060 AERO ITX comes with 8 GB GDDR6 memory and is powered by the AD107 GPU, offering 3072 cores and a 128-bit bus interface at a TGP of 115W. The card features a single 8-pin connector though it will never utilize the full 150W delivered by the connector since the RTX 4060 cards are super efficient. For display connectivity, the GPU comes with three DisplayPort 1.4a connectors and a single HDMI 2.1a connector, which are decent when you consider the form factor you are getting.
The MSI GeForce RTX 4060 AERO ITX comes in both OC and Non-OC flavors. MSI hasn't revealed the pricing of the GPU yet, however, we expect it to be placed somewhere around the $300 price bracket.
