LG Intros Ultra-Lightweight Gram 16 Pro Laptop With Intel Lunar Lake CPUs

The new model of LG Gram 16 Pro will be powered by Intel Core Ultra 200V "Lunar Lake" CPUs, offering enhanced AI capabilities.
Several hardware manufacturers have introduced their new lineups of AI PCs a the IFA 2024 following the release of Intel Lunar Lake Core Ultra 200V processors. LG has joined as well, introducing a brand new model of the Gram 16 Pro laptop. The new model will be powered by the Lunar Lake Core Ultra 200V processors and is expected to be released at the end of 2024.
The LG Gram 16 Pro will be showcased at the Intel Core Ultra Global Launch Event from 3-8 September. It will bring up to 48 TOPS of performance through the Lunar Lake built-in NPU(Neural Processing Unit) and hence, will offer terrific performance needed for Copilot experiences. Users will find several AI functionalities on the laptop for text generation, image creation, and various productivity assistants to increase their productivity without having to worry about power consumption.
Intel Lunar Lake CPUs are known for their power-efficient operation since they bring a 17/30W TDP range for increased battery life. The LG Gram Pro 16 is expected to offer up to 67 TOPS of GPU performance apart from the 48 TOPS through NPU. The Core Ultra 200V processors bring Intel Xe2 Battlemage GPU for enhanced graphical performance and will assist users in various graphical-oriented workloads.
The Executive VP and General Manager of Intel's Client Computing Group, Michelle Johnston Holthaus said,

LG Gram 16 Pro already exists with the Intel Meteor Lake Core Ultra 7 155H processor. It brings either the Intel Xe-based iGPU or the NVIDIA RTX 3050 4GB GPU along with 16GB/32GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 2TB of storage. The new model will be likely updated with the newer RTX 40 series GPUs apart from the option to go with the integrated graphics.
The laptop is known for its ultra-lightweight and thin design, enabling it for easier portability. Moreover, it comes with a 16-inch OLED display for high-quality visuals, displaying a wide color gamut and high contrast. The LG Gram 16 Pro powered by the Lunar Lake chips will also be upgraded in connectivity and will be launched officially for purchase before the end of this year.
