Khadas Unveils The “Mind” Graphics Dock, Featuring NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU

Khadas has unveiled its latest graphics dock under the "Mind" lineup, featuring an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU.

Khadas hasn't generally made much strides in the market, but the company's recently unveiled Mind mini-PC gained traction in the media. The firm's Mind lineup takes the modular PC experience to the next level with a portable workstation onboard, a dedicated graphics dock, and a port hub. While Khadas revealed the "Mind" as a concept a while back, it seems like the company has started implementing its plans and is now unveiling the final design.

Starting with the specifications, the Khadas Mind Graphics dock features a desktop variant of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU onboard, featuring an elegant black & grey design to provide a sleek and futuristic look.

You have 1x USB-C with Thunderbolt 4 support and 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 for connectivity options. Regarding display output, you get 2x HDMI 2.1a and 1x DisplayPort 1.4a, which is decent because graphics docks are generally not meant to go hardcore with display connectivity. Overall, Mind Graphics Dock is an excellent addition to Khadas's ecosystem of modular computing.

Powering the modular computing setup is Khadas's Mind mini-PC, as described earlier. For a quick rundown, the mini-PC features Intel's Core i7-1360P onboard, 32GB of LPDDR5 memory, & two M.2 slots, with both PCIe Gen4 and Gen3 support. Interestingly, the device also comes with a standby battery rated at 5.5KWh, to provide users with a seamless power connection in case of allowing users portability, as it puts the device into sleep mode. The feature is pretty practical and a selling point for the Khadas mini-PC, although the product didn't get the attention from the market that it should've.

In terms of pricing, Mind's mini-PC retails for $799 across major US retailers, while the Khadas Mind Graphics Dock is going for $899. The price is subject to change for the graphics dock, considering that it is in the development phase. Still, as far as the Khadas docking ecosystem is concerned, the manufacturer is trying to establish something great here.
