Intel 14th Gen Meteor Lake-P CPU With Arc Xe GPU Featuring 128 EUs At 2.1 GHz Clocks Spotted

Intel's 14th Gen Meteor Lake-P CPU for laptops are scheduled to launch in the second half of this year and feature a brand new tiled architecture. Two of the main portions of this tiled architecture will be the compute and the graphics blocks which will feature brand-new IPs.
A brand new intel Meteor Lake-P CPU sample has shown up within the SiSoftware Sandra database which seems to be a 45W SKU with 128 EUs or 1024 ALUs. Furthermore, we get to see that the chip had 4 MB of L2 cache but we can't say for sure if this is specific to the GPU tile or the entirety of this chip. It was recently reported that Meteor Lake CPUs will feature a large LLC known as Adamantine which would offer 100s of MBs of cache while being featured on the base tile.
The Intel Meteor Lake-P GPU is also said to feature a clock speed of 2.10 GHz. This clock speed isn't reported as either base or boost but it should also be preliminary frequency. At this frequency, this iGPU should produce 4.3 TFLOPs of FP32 compute horsepower. For comparison, the AMD Radeon 680M offers 3.379 TFLOPs.
That's slightly better than the Xbox Series S but we should remember a compute number doesn't scale equally across different architectures. For example, AMD's RDNA 3 Radeon 780M has up to 8.9 TFLOPs of compute horsepower but it doesn't necessarily mean over 2x the performance. You can see the TFLOPs comparison below but keep in mind what I stated above.
Besides this, the SiSoftware Sandra Database also lists several performance numbers in various benchmarks but you can't really compare it to other GPUs due to multiple listings for the same chip. We can however use some metrics for example the UHD 770 scores 427 Mpix/s within the GP GPU Processing benchmark while the Meteor Lake-P GPU scores 1555 Mpix/s, a difference of 3.64x. Now the UHD 770 is based on a significantly older architecture and has just 32 EUs while the MTL-P GPU is also running early drivers and specs so performance will be vastly better as we get close to launch.
Another comparison can be made with the newer Intel Iris Xe GPU featured on 12th and 13th Gen CPUs. This chip has 96 EUs and scores an average of 962.05 Mpix/s. The Xe-LPG Meteor Lake GPU still retains a 60%+ lead over its predecessor. Once again, expect this lead to be much bigger in the final samples.
We know from previous information that Intel's Meteor Lake Xe-LPG GPUs will feature the same architecture as Alchemist and will utilize the TSMC 5nm process node. These GPUs will have two configurations, a 64 EU (MTL GT2) and 128 EU (MTL GT3) design. These will also enable enhanced support for DirectX 12 Ultimate and XeSS, features that are only supported by the Alchemist lineup as of right now.
Intel Meteor Lake Mobility CPU Lineup Expected Features:
Intel reaffirmed during its recent earnings call that the company will ramp up the production of its Meteor Lake CPUs in 2H 2023 so expect more news later this year.
