Gigabyte Unveils Elegant All-White B650E AORUS STEALTH ICE Motherboard With Backside Connector Design

Gigabyte has unveiled its B650E AORUS Stealth ICE motherboard, featuring an all-white design, innovative backside connectors, and more.
While motherboard manufacturers are in the process of releasing their initial set of the new B650E products with updated features to attract more users to the AM5 platform alongside the Ryzen 9000 CPU launch, it looks like Gigabyte has already made its way up to the "utter premiums" in the segment. With the 800-series motherboards seeing a rather delayed entry into the markets, Gigabyte has focused on consolidating the existing 600-series lineup for the upcoming processors.
In light of this, the firm has released the brand new Gigabyte B650E AORUS STEALTH ICE motherboard, featuring an elegant design along with the new "reverse" connectivity. Interestingly, we already saw a glimpse of the motherboard during our visit to Computex 2024, and that is when we realized that the B650E AORUS STEALTH ICE will be a hit in the markets. Following are the full set of features this product has to offer:
Regarding looks, Gigabyte's newest B650E AORUS STEALTH ICE might be one of the best white motherboards we have seen in the market. It comes with an elegant white and grey color scheme with subtle RGB touches around the heatsinks, which massively uplifts the overall aura of the product.
Apart from that, Gigabyte has managed to integrate backside connectivity with the motherboard, which means that all the power connectors are now placed at the backside, ensuring adequate cable management and a neat look.
Moving onto specifications, Gigabyte's B650E AORUS STEALTH ICE features a digital twin 12+2+2 phases VRM solution with a six-layer PCB. With the AM5 socket onboard, the motherboard is compatible with existing Ryzen 8000/7000 processors along with the upcoming Ryzen 9000 series as well. For memory, the motherboard is equipped with four DIMM slots supporting DDR5-8000, and storage options include three M.2 slots, one featuring PCIe Gen 5 connectivity, while the other two being PCIe Gen 4 compatible.
The motherboard also comes with one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, which features a magnetic latching mechanism, making it easy to replace hardware connected to the motherboard. For networking options, the B650E AORUS STEALTH ICE comes with 2.5GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 7 connections.
This is the first instance where we have seen the motherboard surface up, so details surrounding prices and release dates aren't certain yet. However, given that we are close to the launch of new Zen5 desktop CPUs, Gigabyte might debut the motherboard alongside them.
