Gigabyte has listed AMD's upcoming Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card at EEC for certification and lists down 16 GB of memory, double that of the RX 7600.

The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT is expected to be the major upcoming launch from the red team in its RDNA 3 GPU family. The desktop graphics card will be a higher-end variant than the RX 7600 which has been out for several months and targets the $269 US price point. The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT is suggested to launch in late January and will likely target a price point of around $300 US.

Now based on a recent listing by Gigabyte, we once again have evidence that the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT might feature 16 GB of GDDR6 memory. The EEC listing reveals two variants from the AIB, both of which are based on the Gaming Windforce design and come in both OC/Non-OC variants. These graphics card variants are listed below:

  • Gigabyte Radeon RX 7600 XT Gaming OC (GV-R76XTGAMING OC-16GD)
  • Gigabyte Radeon RX 7600 XT Gaming (GV-R76XTGAMING-16GD)
  • Although most of the EEC listings are simply placeholders for potential "upcoming" launches, the bigger players (AIBs) do have better insight into what's coming in the future. Since the launch of this particular graphics card is suggested to take place by the end of January, this could very well be the real deal.

The existence of the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT 16 GB graphics card will also be interesting as we have pointed out several times before. There are several possible configurations that the RX 7600 XT could make use of.

If it's based on the Navi 33 SKU, we can expect higher clocks and double the VRAM on the same 128-bit bus interface which would be slightly faster than the RX 7600 but end up with similar bandwidth bottlenecks as the RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB. A Navi 32 variant could make use of more cores and even potentially a higher bus interface but a 256-bit seems unlikely since the 7700 XT uses a 192-bit bus interface and a card of a lower tier featuring a higher bus interface doesn't make a lot of sense.

  • Possibility #1: Navi 33 (Same Cores As RX 7600) + 16 GB VRAM + 128-bit Bus
  • Possibility #2: Navi 32 (Higher Cores Vs RX 7600) + 16 GB VRAM + 128-bit Bus
  • Possibility #3: Navi 32 (Higher Cores Vs RX 7600) + 16 GB VRAM + 256-bit Bus
  • So as you can see, there are several possibilities but we look forward to what AMD selects for the Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card. The card will likely launch in the $300 US price bracket & only come in custom variants as revealed recently.

  • Navi 33 (Same Cores As RX 7600) + 16 GB VRAM + 128-bit Bus
  • Navi 32 (Higher Cores Vs RX 7600) + 16 GB VRAM + 128-bit Bus
  • Navi 32 (Higher Cores Vs RX 7600) + 16 GB VRAM + 256-bit Bus
  • None / Other (Mention in comments)
