The famous stress test and benchmark, Furmark 2, has returned with a revamped interface & new hardware support to push your GPUs to the limits.

The newer FurMark 2.1.0 has been released 16 years after the original FurMark, and it comes with huge changes, starting with extensive support for operating systems. FurMark 2.1.0 now comes with cross-support for Windows 32-bit, Windows 64-bit, and Linux 64-bit platforms. The developer will also release versions for the Raspberry Pi and macOS as well. The bigger change is the inclusion of a completely different GUI, which the developer says is being built with GeeXLab, which is being supported by the GeeXLab SDK.

In terms of the add-ons, FurMark 2.1.0 now supports new 3D APIs, which feature the OpenGL 3.2 and the Vulkan 3.1. The new interface now comes with easier-to-read benchmarking results, alongside the tests, which makes reading data much more easier. Moreover, with this particular version, you will get compatibility with current-gen GPUs as well, including the recently released GeForce RTX 40 SUPER SKUs. You can view the complete changelog below:

  • Fixed a bug in the display of graphics cards with a long name in the OSI (On Screen Information).
  • Added the power in watts in the score submission for NVIDIA GPUs.
  • Added FurMark Knot demo in OpenGL and Vulkan
  • Improved the use of the following command line options: --benchmark, --max-time and --max-frames Now they work correctly.
  • Score submit is disabled is a renderer is too slow (1 frame in less than 60 sec) or if a fake score is detected (number of points and average framerate do not match).
  • (windows) GPU monitoring plugin: added support for GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4080 SUPER.
  • (windows) updated with GPU-Z 2.57
  • (windows) updated with GPU Shark2 2.1.0
  • updated with GeeXLab 0.57.0 libs
  • The FurMark 2.1.0 indeed looks like a great addition to the lineup of benchmarking resources, and the revamped GUI certainly makes it something from the current era, as the previous iteration looked like something from the old ages.
