ASUS Unveils High-Performance WiFI 7 Routers & Adapter Including ROG Rapture GT-BE19000

ASUS has released its next-gen WiFi 7 Routers & Adapters, enhancing both wired and wireless internet connectivity with higher speeds internet and lower latency.
At Gamescom, ASUS announced three new cutting-edge devices with support for WiFi 7. These are the triple-band and dual-band routers and an adapter to provide high-bandwidth WiFi 7 support to masses for next-level wired and wireless performance along with low latency for competitive gaming.
As WiFi 7 support will be available on Windows 11 at the end of 2024, the new adapter and routers will enhance the gaming experience of users by offering up to 2.4 times faster speed than WiFi 6 and significantly greater coverage by up to 73%. The new lineup includes the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 router, the ASUS RT-BE86U router, and the ASUS ROG USB-BE92 USB WiF7 adapter.
The ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 succeeds the current generation Rapture series that offers WiFi 6E support and will offer tri-band WiFi 7 speeds of up to 19Gbps instead. The wired bandwidth is much higher with up to 31Gbps and it also provides a variety of WAN options like AI WAN detection on 2.5G and 10G LAN ports. Furthermore, the router also provides support for 4G LTE and 5G mobile tethering.
This tri-band router provides 320MHz channels in a 6GHz band along with Multi-Link Operation. Additionally, 4096-QAM is also supported to increase the network capacity and throughput. The 4096-QAM offers a 20% increase in data rate compared to the 1024-QAM present with WiFi 6, making WiFi coverage faster and more reliable.
The GT-BE19000 allows managing up to five SSIDs through the Guest Network Pro, setting IoT devices, and configuring VPNs and parental controls. The Triple-Level Game Acceleration is also supported for prioritizing the data packets for games, ensuring reliable connectivity to the game server while the AiProtection Pro will ensure robust security.
The RT-BE86U also supports WiFi 7 bandwidth but offers dual-band throughput of up to 6Gbps with Multi-Link Operation and 4096QAM similar to the Rapture GT-BE1900. The router comes with four 2.5G and one 10G LAN port supporting up to 20Gbps of bandwidth combined. It offers similar connectivity, including AI WAN detection, 4G LTE, and 5G mobile tethering via USB.
One of the notable features of the RT-BE86U is its quad-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz, which can handle intensive applications while remaining power-efficient by up to 30% compared to the RT-AX86U. The processor is not only more efficient but features higher clock speeds than the CPU in the latter router and also has higher wired capacity.
For those who don't want to compromise on the range and speed, ASUS introduced its ROG USB-BE92 USB WiFi 7 adapter, which supports tri-band connectivity and can deliver up to 6500Mbps speeds. It offers 3.6 times faster performance than WiFi 6 adapters and carries Enhanced security, provided through the WPA3 support. It's compatible with both Windows 10 and 11 and supports USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 Type C and Type A connections for versatility.
