ASUS Rolls Out AGESA 1.1.0.2a BIOS Firmware For X670E Motherboards, Offers Improved AMD Ryzen 8000G Support

ASUS has started rolling out a more toughened up AGESA 1.1.0.2a BIOS for its X670E motherboards in preparation for AMD Ryzen 8000G APUs.
Motherboard vendors have quietly been releasing new AGESA BIOS updates for their AM5 family of motherboards. The latest BETA BIOS comes from ASUS who are the first to roll out the 1.1.0.2a for its lineup which comes with enhanced support for AMD Ryzen 8000G APUs. The two main changes include the updation to the AMD ComboAM5 1102a RC1 and improvements in overall system and platform performance. The new update also resolves some of the issues reported with missing M.2 devices.
While we have seen the last BIOS updates roll out across all AM5 motherboards, the new release by ASUS is limited to the top X670E motherboards which include ROG Crosshair, ROG STRIX, TUF & the ProArt series. Following is the full list of motherboards featuring the new AGESA 1.1.0.2a BETA BIOS along with the respective download links:
Certain motherboard vendors such as Gigabyte had previously outed the AGESA 1.1.0.1a BETA BIOS for its AM5 motherboards too. As for the SMU Checker, the new AMD AGESA 1.1.0.2a AM5 BIOS firmware adds an update targeted at the Ryzen 8000G Desktop APUs as seen below (via HardwareLuxx Forums):
The AMD Ryzen 8000G APUs launch later this month and will be compatible with existing AM5 motherboards. They mostly target the mainstream and budget segment but it's always nice to see support ready on higher-end motherboards for users who want to utilize these chips on such boards.
