ASUS Release AMD AGESA 1.1.0.1 BETA BIOS Firmware For X670 & B650 Motherboards, Improves System Performance

ASUS has just released the newest AMD AGESA 1.1.0.1 BETA BIOS firmware for its X670 & B650 motherboard lineup.
Last month, we saw major motherboard vendors such as ASUS, ASRock & Gigabyte roll out the latest AGESA 1.1.0.0 BIOS firmware. This new update was specifically designed to support AMD's Ryzen 8000G APUs which are coming out by the end of January. These APUs would feature AMD Zen 4 CPU and RDNA 3 GPU architecture and be the first major APU launch in years and the first for the AM5 platform. Besides these, AMD will also introduce a slew of entry-level SKUs.
Now coming to the AMD AGESA 1.1.0.1 BIOS firmware, the new update comes as a BETA release from ASUS and has two major highlights, the first being the update to the ComboAM5 1101 & it also adds improved system performance. Being a BETA release, it is advised that users who don't find issues on their existing BIOS avoid such releases and wait for an official version but those who do want to try out can grab the firmware from the following links provided by ASUS:
As for the SMU Checker, the new AMD AGESA 1.1.0.1 AM5 BIOS firmware adds an update targeted at the Ryzen 8000G Desktop APUs as seen below (via HardwareLuxx Forums):
AMD will be present at CES 2024 to showcase its next-gen consumer technologies so we can expect some form of details on the upcoming AM5 releases.
