ASUS Officially Confirms 15th July For AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix Point” Laptops Launch

ASUS seems to have officially confirmed the release date of the first AMD Ryzen AI 300 APU-powered laptops which hit retail in July.

AMD's upcoming Ryzen AI 300 Strix Point" APUs, which were announced back at Computex, are nearing launch.

While Team Red gave us an idea of when to expect the new processors to drop into the markets, we never saw an update directly from manufacturers. ASUS has now become the first company to validate launch dates. A week ago, we saw individual listings at Bestbuy disclosing the launch dates of ASUS's upcoming "Ryzen AI 300" series laptops, and now the manufacturer has listed specific models on their website, suggesting that we are indeed near.

Listings by ASUS suggest that the firm plans to launch multiple laptop models featuring AMD's Strix Point "Ryzen AI 300" APUs by July 15th. Videocardz mentions this particular launch date across several stores, including US and European websites.

So, with that said, the first batch of Zen 5 CPUs will drop into the markets in mid-July, but according to the information ASUS has revealed, we expect the entire portfolio to be shipped out by the end of July, up to the start of August.

In terms of what ASUS has in stores for its consumers, the company plans to release all-round models, starting from $1399.99 US Zenbook S 16 with the Ryzen AI 9 365 to the high-end ROG Zephyrus OLED with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. AMD's Ryzen AI 300 CPUs have a lot to offer with their brand new Zen 5 CPU, RDNA 3.5 GPU, and XDNA 2 NPU cores, and they are expected to take the AI PC hype to a whole new level, bringing in high-end computing performance, particular for AI-focused applications.

With that, ASUS became the first manufacturer to list AMD's Ryzen AI 300 laptops "officially" in its stores, and we expect other firms to follow suit, given that the launch dates are approaching.
