ASUS Intros ProArt Display PA32KCX Monitor: 32″ 8K, 4096-Zone Mini-LED, DisplayPort 2.1

ASUS has unveiled two new monitors for Pro users under its ProArt Display family with the PA32KCX being the main highlight with its 8K panel & DisplayPort 2.1 support.
The two ProArt Display monitors being announced today are designed for professionals and offer a range of features such as providing crisp image quality with high resolutions of up to 8K, great colors & connectivity options.
Starting first with the ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX, we are looking at a 32" Mini-LED which boasts a resolution of 8K (7680 x 4320). ASUS is claiming this to be the world's first 8K Mini LED monitor for professionals. The monitor has a 97% cinema-grade DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and comes with 4096-zone Mini LED zones with a peak brightness of 1200 nits and 1000 nits of sustained full-screen brightness. The monitor also supports HDR10.
In terms of design, the ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX comes with anti-glare, low-reflection (AGLR), and Eye Care+ technology. I/O on the monitor includes HDMI 2.1 plus DisplayPort 2.1 outputs and there's also a USB hub that features two Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C connectors rated for up to 96W USB power delivery.
The second monitor is the ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM which is a QD-OLED design with a 31.5" panel rated at 4K UHD (3840 x 2160). This ProArt monitor has a 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. This monitor has a peak brightness rated at 1000 nits and supports 10-bit color depth (True). Unlike the other model, the PA32UCDM features HDMI 2.1 outputs and the same USB hub with 2 Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports (rated at 96W power delivery). The monitor has a 50% smaller base footprint than the last-gen model and comes with easy mounting support too.
ASUS didn't announce the pricing or availability of either of the two ProArt Display models but we can expect more information in the coming months as these models hit retail.
