ASRock recently announced its partnership with TOPFEEL to offer brand new DESK Mini PC options in AMD & Intel options. Now, these PCs are available for sale and we also get to know their specs in full.

ASRock offers a range of solutions in its Desk series lineup of Mini and Compact PCs.We got to see their new DeskSlim and DeskMeet options with AMD X600 motherboards at Computex 2023 and it looks like the company has several more options in the works. The company recently announced a partnership with TOPFEEL, a Mini PC brand that specializes in workstation and NAS products. Their partnership has led to the expansion of the DESK lineup with six brand-new options which include:

  • DeskMax Series (High-End Mini-Tower Workstation)
  • DeskMix Series (Light-Weight Mini-Tower Workstation)
  • DeskNas Series (Multi-Networking Storage Solution)
  • DeskMic Series (Compact Mini PC Design)
  • DeskMff Series (Thin Mini PC Design)
  • DeskAIO Series (HCI Product Lineup)
  • All of these products have been designed with both AMD and Intel platforms in mind. But before that, we have to talk about the new DeskMax series which are the high-end workstation solutions offered in AMD A620 and Intel B660 flavors. The DeskMax series comes in a chassis that measures 270 x 260 x 140mm for the AMD and 225 x 320 x 140mm for the Intel variant. The heat dissipation area covers 55mm and the specs for each chipset are very different.

    The ASRock DeskMax series in AMD A620 option supports Ryzen 7000 CPUs, DDR5-5600 memory, 2 SATA III devices, two M.2 devices (1 Gen 4x4 & 1 Gen3x2), and a discrete GPU with up to 240mm of total length. There's also WiFi 6+ support and up to 7 USB ports. The Intel B660 option carries 12th & 13th Gen CPU support, DDR5-5000 memory, a single Gen 4x4 M.2 slot, 4 SATA III ports, WIFI 5+ & can support a dual-slot discrete graphics card with a length of up to 310mm. Both units feature the support for SFX PSU.

    The rest of the Desk Mini PC options from ASRock such as the DeskMFF, DeskMic, and DeskMix come in AMD X300 and Intel H610 options. The AMD X300 is limited up to Ryzen 5000 CPUs and Intel H610 supports up to 13th Gen CPUs. The DeskMix comes with a chassis that measures 260 x 248 x 90mm, allowing it to support a single-slot discrete graphics card, and features a pre-installed 1U FLEX 250W PSU.

    The DeskMFF and DeskMic measure 210 x 199 x 56 & 210 x 190 x 90mm, respectively. Both Mini PCs don't feature discrete graphics support and have to rely on integrated graphics. Power is provided through a DC 5525 120W input and all solutions come with WIFI 6+ support and a single SATA III port. There's a single M.2 Gen 3x4 slot on the AMD X300 and two M.2 slots (1 x Gen5x4 & 1x SATA) on the Intel H610 options. These three Mini PCs also support DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM.

    Now for the pricing starting with the DeskMax AMD A620 option. The barebone variant costs 1499 RMB or $205 US and the base 450W air-cooled variant costs 1799 RMB or $250 US. You can also get the casing along with the aluminum chassis and the option for liquid coolers for 999 RMB or $140 US.

    The B660 option is 100 RMB more expensive than the A620 option with power supplies coming from FSP. The single DeskMix H610 variant starts at 1399 RMB or $195 US. The DeskMFF Intel Mini PC starts at 1199 RMB while the AMD option starts at 100 RMB cheaper at 1099 RMB. Finally, we have the DeskMic which is only available in barebone options with the AMD X300 variant starting at 1199 RMB while the Intel option comes pre-configured with a CPU. The Core i5-13400 variant starts at 2899 RMB or $400 US.
