AMD Certifies Numerous “D707” GPU Boards At South Korean RRA, New RDNA 3 Cards Imminent?

AMD has certified a total of seven brand new 'D707" GPU boards at the South Korean RRA which points out to more RDNA 3 graphics cards coming soon.

Twitter leaker harukaze5719 posted new information about the board certification at RRA. It has been mentioned that there are seven different board model numbers, two of which have already been released. The filing was published by the South Korean National Radio Research Agency, but the manufacturer was listed as "ATI TECHNOLOGIES ULC." This was most likely done to hold off any notifications by the public as to the finding since AMD acquired ATI Technologies over two decades ago.

The models listed on the new RRA are shown in a screenshot below:

It has been confirmed that two model numbers, D702 and D704, are for the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT, respectively. AMD has not confirmed any new information, so we can only speculate about the remaining boards.

Considering that there are seven board IDs, it is possible that these might be for brand-new RDNA 3 offerings. AMD has so far only introduced its high-end Navi 31 GPUs which means that desktop users will be getting Navi 32 and Navi 33 products later this year. While AMD has not confirmed any new variants except the laptop lineup which utilizes the Navi 33 SKU, it is possible that we will get a range of RX 7800, RX 7700, and RX 7600 GPUs sooner or later.

New AMD-based laptops will be released soon that will utilize the Radeon RX 7600 and 7700 GPUs using the Navi 33 GPU. It is also possible that one of the listed models could be for mobile lines or the discussed enterprise models that the company is working on. AMD really needs to offer some new cards in the mainstream segment as that's the next tier that NVIDIA is targeting with its RTX 40 series cards.
